EDIFACT translator wanted in Japan

Subject: EDIFACT translator wanted in Japan

We have a business partner operating in Japan who we are encouraging to
become EDI capable. They would therefore like our recommendation on a low
end EDI translator that would support their needs. This translator would
need to run on an AS/400 (preferred) or on an NT platform. The OS/400
operating system would be double-byte, not Unicode. The recommended
translator should have training and installation services available in
Japan, and should support translating EDIFACT documents containing
double-byte data and would optimally be able to perform code page
conversion. They also require protocols that are common in Japan, such as
HULFT or Zengin.

Please contact me via email to give me your own recommendations. I also
would like a general cost for the software, services, and maintenance (in
USD, please). Unfortunately, I do not have their AS/400 model number at
this time, so would therefore need a range of prices for that platform.

Thank you for your assistance.
