New Poll - Communication Protocols

As you already know, I have created a new poll based on the responses
to my earlier question. I am aware that some of the selections are
potentially redundant and that some are at differant levels of the
communications stack. Bear with these limitations please, I believe
the results will still be useful.
When I created the poll, I chose the option to have the results sent
only to me. I will gladly share them with anyone who requests them.
