RedTail Solutions is a provider of managed EDI systems and services to
mid-market companies that need to be able to support EDI with their
large trading partners, but that do not have or want to develop an
in-house EDI capability (i.e., systems, staff, software, et al). RedTail
acts as the virtual EDI group for the mid-market company, sets up all
the trading relationships, manages the transaction flow, and provides a
direct interface into the customer's accounting system for all required
EDI transaction sets.
We are looking to hire a technical sales specialist in our Milford, MA
office. The technical sales specialist will work closely with our
channels to help close prospective customers. Responsibilities will
include:
- Work with sales channels to provide sales demos of our managed EDI
service, answer technical and sales questions about our EDI capabilities
- Drive sales process with indirect channels to shorten the selling
cycle
- Develop customer quotes and sales proposals
- Manage/facilitate implementation of new customers
- Represent RedTail at trade shows, conferences
- Conduct technical selling seminars
The desired candidate will have:
- An understanding of manufacturing and distribution-based businesses
- Experience in and understanding of EDI and e-Commerce
- Direct experience with at least one mid-market accounting system
(e.g., MAS90, Great Plains)
- Inside sales, or sales support experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- A BS or MBA is desired
Candidates should live within commuting distance of Milford MA.
