EDI Experience:
Solid understanding of EDI and its business applicability and value.
Experience in designing and implementing EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT).
Develops, recommends and implements best practices and quality processes
that produce repeatable and predictable results.

Retail experience is required. Customer prefers a candidate who has
experience on an EDI related project within the apparel or footwear
industry.


EDI Technical Knowledge:
Highly competent in the application of EDI standards (ANSI, VICS and UCC)
enabling Collaborative Replenishment sometimes referred to as either Vendor
Managed Inventory (VMI) or Collaborative Planning Forecasting &
Replenishment (CPFR)
Sell-thru/Point of Sale Data - EDI 852 and PRODAT
Forecast Data - EDI 830 and SLSFCT
Inventory Management - EDI 846 and INVRPT
PO Acknowledgement/Reverse PO - EDI 855 and ORDRSP
SAP experience will be important.
Experience with SAP Modules and IDOCs will be valuable.
Experience integrating with Collaborative Replenishment business processes
that are defined in SAP
Knowledge of EDI translation software will be helpful.
Knowledge of eCommerce communication methods and tools (XML, EDIINT, s/MIME,
VAN communication, EDI Mailbox) will be helpful.
Knowledge of Unix based EDI translation software and mapping functions will
be helpful.
Business Analyst Experience:
Experience with technical analysis including the ability to discover and
recommend solutions, define business impacts and provide technical analysis
to new EDI initiatives and enhancements important.

the analysis, construction, testing and implementation
