I think that is a subject best either framed in a different question or left
entirely alone, Dave. *grin* I prefer to see the issue as the various
industries adopting the basic standards, and building implementations suited to
the way they do business. That is, after all, the essence of the way the
generic standards developed by X12 and others are supposed to work. They are
designed to be flexible enough to accommodate the business needs of as many
industries as possible.
