Subject: Gentran NT: Skipping Segment occurances in a group
Hi all,
I am using Gentran NT 3.1. I have the following problem and will
appreciate any assistance.

I have a group of N1 segments occuring upto 5 times. I want to use
only one of these occurances - say with N101 = 'SU'. All elements
from N1 segment are mapped to application record 'HDR1'. Two (2) temp
segment elements are also mapped to 'HDR1' record. I want a 'HDR'
record written only if N101 = 'SU'.

In summary, I want a 'HDR1' record written with all elements of N1
+ the temporary segments elements if and only if N101 = 'SU'. In all
other cases HDR1 should not be written even if N1xx elements and
temporary segment elements contain data.

Please help. (Is there a way to read and skip a segment occurance
inside a loop? I think that may help me)

Thanks and regards,
S Vengat
