If you are already comfortable with the Gentran EDI
mapper, you may want to consider Sterling's GIS for
Unix which uses a very similar mapper, has support for
AS2, etc. The caveat being that it might not be as
robust for some of the highly complex integrations.
If the emphasis is EDI, with some integration, I think
it is a decent option.
