Dan, et al.
Let me recommend Science's Next Wave, a weekly online supplement to
Science Magazine on career development for scientists and
engineers. One of the articles this week is on resumes (or CVs as
they are also known) for job hunters leaving the academic world and
seeking work in industry. See http://nextwave.sciencemag.org/.
Next Wave is a subscription site, but most major univerisities have
subscriptions, and outside the U.S. the national scientific
societies or corporate sponsors act as underwriters.
After I left DISA this summer, I went to work for Next Wave as
managing editor. Hope you find the site useful.
