RE: <OFF TOPIC - SORT OFF>Ariba participation

I can tell you that I've talked to Ariba and they have the ability to send
documents via EDI, CXML, or email. (There may be a couple of others, but
I'm not familiar with them). Our company is trying to figure out which
route (CXML or EDI) is the best route to take because they can only send one
transmission type (i.e. I can't ask them to send me EDI for trading partner
A and B, and also ask them to send me CXML for trading partner C and D.
Trading partners A - D must all be CXML or all be EDI). Ticks me off, but
there's nothing that can be done about it. There will be ONE Ariba account
for my company and ONE transmission type for all my trading partners that
have an Ariba account.
I can't help you with your question concerning pricing structure. That's
not my department.
By the way, since Ariba does EDI docs, I don't consider your message to be
off topic :)

Subject: [EDI-L] <OFF TOPIC - SORT OFF>Ariba participation
We have the opportunity to become an Ariba participant as a supplier. Can
anyone please provide information on pricing structure and Ariba's
capability to send information to us via EDI.
Thanks.
