RE: <MISC> ISA ID-GS ID Pairings

Bonjour Dan,
I use EDI*Windows from Trinary system & the uniqueness of a Trading Partner
is done via at least ISA & GS identifier of the sending party and the ISA &
GS qualifier of the receiving Party. In theory and may be someone can
confirm it,it should take in consideration the ISA qualifier as well.
I use my GS id to make a distinction between my company's divisions...
Have a great day,
Robert

Subject: [EDI-L] <MISC> ISA ID-GS ID Pairings
I'd like to know are many or not many other EDI translators sensitive
to
the ISA ID and GS ID pairings to identify trading partners?
I've got TIE Commerce eVision Enterprise software. When a trading
partner
changes the GS ID to one I don't have set up, I get an unknown partner
flagging. The envelope is not processed and then I have to track back to
see if this is an error or something I should have been told about by my
trading partner.
I guess I'm not dealing well with annoyances today, but I still want
to
know, rough idea, does it make a difference out there or not.
