Chuck:
First let me begin my reply by saying we are a reseller of QualEDI.
However, first and foremost, we are consultants, and implement EDI solutions
on the PC and AS400 (iSeries) platforms. Since 1990 I have been in search
of products that we can align ourselves with that will make us look good as
consultants. On the PC platform, that product has been QualEDI. We have
implemented a number of PC based translators (GEIS EDI Desktop, Harbinger,
Gentran, etc), but usually only do so when the customer already has the
solution in place. If a customers comes to us, and asks for a
recommendation, we always implement the QualEDI product.

I have been implementing EDI since the mid 1980s, first as an employee and
later as a consultant. I have seen EDI vendors come and go, consolidate,
sun set products, etc. It sometimes has been very frustrating. Qualedi was
started and has been run by the same principals since its inception. The
product has progressed from a DOS to a Windows environment. I have had a
client on it since the old DOS days, and upgrades and migrations to the
Windows environment went very smoothly. Their customer support is top
notch, and I highly recommend them. Some may say that my opinion is biased
as a reseller, but.... I have had the opportunity to be a reseller for all
the PC platform vendors, I recommend QualEDI, because I know I will have a
successful implementation and a happy client.

If you have any technical questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

I'm reviewing the QualEDI software package, and I'd be interested in
comments from users of the package. Please contact me privately for a
dialogue, if you wish. Thanks. My e-mail is
