Have you surveyed your suppliers? Some may already be doing EDI in your
industry or other hard-line industries. I'm sure they would be more than
willing to supply copies of existing implementation guides. After all, if
you adopt one they're already using, everyone gets the job done faster and
cheaper.

Some of you already know that I'm working for an ABS/PVC Pipes & Fittings
manufacturer. We are about to start sending 850 to our own suppliers. Are
there any Guide Lines for the hardline industry for outbound 850 from a
manufacturer to a supplier? If so, I would appreciate an electronic copy of
it or the appropriate link to a web site. For your information, I'm already
considering the information contained in the EDIPro standards.
