Turning SpamGuard off

From another group I'm on...
Would the owner of the group please consider this:
Click on Management on the lower left side, look under Group
Settings, hit the Messages link, and then you should see a listing
for e-mail and post options under postings and archives, Spamguard is
one of the buttons to push, it is at the end. I turned it off, so we
shall see. I have not had any spam messages yet on that group at
least.
Apologies if this advice is a dup... I'm a digest guy so it may have
been mentioned before.
