Earl, the DTM 'Event Date' sounds a little vague - wouldn't the supplier
be left wondering what the customer meant by 'Event Date'? How about
ITD09 (Terms Deferred Due Date)? Wouldn't that be a lot less ambiguous?

The Dates would usually be sent in the DTM segment, with a qualifier for
'Event Date' which is 'AAH' (or one of the over 1000 qualifiers <bg>)

OR they could send it as part of the ITD segment which has the terms.

Normally, these are documented in the Trading Partner specs..
